A Whisper The Wind whispers; A thousand Tales — Into my Ears — blessed and dear; The Words carry a Meaning I cannot hear. I walked into the dreary Night of — Shadowy Reflections and misty Twilight; Revealing to me — Forests of green; Big Leaves sprouting. I see but do not fathom; I hear but do not register; The Shimmers of the Stars above — The Sounds of the Earth beneath. All I hear is this tiny Leaf; I hear its fall to the Earth — From the great Oak in the Sky. This Leaf small but significant; Its Whisper calms the Night and — Its Message speaks for all of Mankind.
