Nature’s Beat
Thunderous
Tapping
of the feet.
Bodies radiating soulful wit
Moving
and moving.
Cannot
would not
Stop it.
In unison swaying
To nature's beat.
Bodies give in to—
Echoing
Whispers.
Streets of
Secrets and mysteries;
Loud and quiet
rumours —
in the night,
Hands intertwine.
Across the sky
burns and falls
the crushing red meadow
into nature’s bed.
Call
out!
Scream
forth!
Hear
The Ocean!
Listen to Its singing!
Wave your arms
tap your feet!
Lift your spirits
to the rhythm
of nature’s beat.Cover art: The Oxbow by Thomas Cole, 1836
