I observe your Shadow as a Conjurer in the Night The murky Flicker of Darkness reflects your ghastly Figure Around Midnight I posses you in a Second which is resisting Like you it fleets away so I stretch it out for a Lifetime Behind the Shimmer of the Moon your Smile shines in Vain The Night grinning at the Two of us mocking our most intimate Hour Light appears and awakens the Day Dust rising from the Ground and dissolving in thin Air The Sun blinding and burning your Body I follow your Path through your spellbinding Trace to the Realm of Death a bleak and binding Maze And there we shall pass our final Days.
