SHELTER
We seek shelter from the horrors in our minds,
seek shelter from ghosts, figures and misfortunes,
that creep in.
We seek shelter from memories and traumas,
searching for dream-trances and nocturnal séances —
people and moments that change us.
We seek shelter from the wind and the rain,
seek shelter from anxiety, despair and melancholy —
their eternal mechanics, gone into self-oscillation.
We seek shelter from the monster under our bed,
seek shelter from the claws of our thoughts and the fangs of our souls,
as they start drilling in.
We seek shelter from the horrors in our minds.

Where can we take shelter from horrors within? Very cool. Great choice of thumbnail picture on this one, too!
The repetition in this is very nice. In a way the trance like sound of it calms the mind, which goes well with the idea of the poem. But at the same time if kind of leaves you hanging with out much hope. I like when a poem can be taken in different (especially) opposite directions. I like this one a lot!
