Reminds me of when my inner life breached the barrier of negativity and unfolded into something higher... a sense of nihilistic hope, hopeful nihilism? A sense of time reminding us of our meaninglessness and simultaneously a glimpse of our potential. Great stuff!
I like the term hopeful nihilism! It's certainly easy to look at life through a bleak lense, finding meaning and purpose through that bleakness is a much more difficult challenge! More than just accepting our condition, we can also strive towards hope for the beauty which we are able to create in unison!
Thank you so much for reading and the comment, Ellis! <3
What a powerful articulation of the point when tradition or the past no longer serves us. We were born for a new and original relationship with the universe. To put the pieces of this fragmented world back together with new meanings!
Thank you for the always thoughtful and profound comment! Really enjoy hearing how you percieve and interperet my writing. That line I would say sums up a big part of what the poem is reaching for.
We reside in God's heart. Soul searching piece, Rasmus!
Thank you kindly, Rea! I think it's part nihilistic and part spiritual. The two can truly go together<3
They do! 💗
Excellent flow in this one
Thank you Daniel! It's a bit experimental in form, so I'm glad you enjoyed it<3

hoping its disintegration to be meaning.”
