City Lights
Lights glisten in the night—
from lampposts, houses and stores.
Inwards and outwardly seeking are
the kind souls—
the shards of darkness blurred
by yearnful desires —
in the night.
From the detention of shadows
and—
From the immunity of cruel thoughts
humanity grows
effortlessly in unison.
It’s all we’ve got.
It’s not a lot,
but —
perhaps it’s enough...Cover Art: City Lights by Silvia Louro, 2012

Simply elegant.
How do you go about writing when you set out to write something? Do you have a clear intention? Start with a source material? etc.
I get the sense that this is coming from a very particular and intentioned place.
Beautiful words!
