It was tough to pick but I think my favourites were: "dormant shadows shelter / the tired lasts breaths / of dying backwoods" and "old clockworks / moving defiantly / towards future days" Btw, the Emily Carr painting you featured caught my eye. Here in British Columbia we see her works in many exhibits. Great collection you've made here, and the pictures suited the vibes perfectly!
Thanks for reading and for the thoughtful comment Ellis! I am glad you enjoyed the collection and the choice of visuals. The style of Emily Carr intrigues me a lot. I don't think I've ever seen any of her paintings in person though.
Thank you kindly, Rea! It was a lot of fun to write. Oddly enough I felt like most of the haikus wrote themselves, but that's the beauty of the form I think. You don't really have to do much, but just observe and be concise with your words:)
Lovely sequence Rasmus! Very nice flow and interactions amongst the lines!
Thank you kindly, Benno! I am glad that you enjoyed reading them:)

This was cool. I could feel myself moving through the seasons, especially the summer section.
these two were my favorite:
white gardens
hide the colours
of spring.
dawn delayed—
the lingering sun
of yesterday.
Thank you kindly for reading, Danny! I am glad you enjoyed them and appreciate you highlighting your favorite ones:)
Reading them all at once was so meditative. Thanks for sharing them!
Thank you for reading all of them, Daniel! I am glad you enjoyed them, and that you found there was a meditative quality to the collection!
This is truly excellent, congrats on creating such a lovely collection! Summer air was definitely a highlight, beautiful words.
Thank you for the kind words, Jas! It was a fun collection to write, and I definitely also feel that Summer Air stands out in the collection:)
Spring Light and Summer Air were standouts for me
Thank you, Joseph! Are they also your favorite seasons or os it just coincidental?
Nope, just judging on the strength of the poems. Or at least how I enjoyed them the most.
Here is Pennsylvania, autumn is the best season.
I've also found that autumn is the best season, no matter where I've found myself so far, actually:)
This is a lovely collection of seasonal haikus, Rasmus! Your words describe the emotions and changes of each season perfectly!

That happens to me when I write poems, Rasmus. They write themselves. :)
